Viv v Lord Byron Result 08/09/2008Very short report this week as the Lord Byron couldn't raise a team giving the Vic a 7-0 and 5-0 walkover.
We played an in-house handicap which saw Bobby Balls win the final of the dominoes by 3 legs to 1 against Geordie Jennings, who had come through the most difficult route knocking out established stars Tucker Muncaster, The Dominator and Les Graham en route to the final. Ballsy proved to be a bridge to far tho.
The darts saw Geordie in the final as well having beaten Kev Cunningham and Ballsy on his way to the final against Craig Creenfield who knocked out Steve Kell in the quarters and Stevie Burton in the semi. An excellent final saw Craig taking victory in only 22 darts although George had already had 6 darts at a double in what could have been a sub 20 dart leg.
Next week is away to the Marlborough.
