Will the weather this season prevent us from playing as much as it did last season ?

The weather that we keep getting now looks like it will delay the start of the season by at last a couple of weeks so do you think with the global warming starting to take affect the correct people get in contact with the ECB and find out if we can delay the start of the season by 2 or 3 weeks so more cricket gets played in the future ?
