Lets get some things straight here.

1. HMS had 3 decent players missing, the others that were missing wouldnt get into anybody elses first team in my opinion.
2. We had 4 first team players missing.
3. HMS are the best side in the league when they have thier full team out and that is why everyone likes to beat them.
4. You can only beat what is in front of you and we did that rather comfortably.
5. The ref had a poor game in my opinion but thats what the game is all about. The decision to send Gavin off was the right one as he just woudnt let it go, despite his own players telling him to.
6. I personally dont believe we will get relegated.
7. Our goalkeeper from last year scored 2 goals.
8. HMS broke the rules and should be deducted 3 points but will not be reported to the league by us.

at the end of the day... the vic stuffed hms, simple as that,
11 v 11 so no excusses ..
take a couple of players out of their team and they are left with a very very average side

name one player in our team who has played at the same level as nobby(apart from caffer),david gordon played for sunderland for 6 years is that any good paul?what about gary bulleyment?played for gossport(higher standard than northern league) following his release after 5 years at southampton.is that any good paul? elliott hughes played for jarrow roofing last season,they were in the same league as horden.scorer and scotty who both missed sunday play northern league(or has played in scottys case)
