Just heard from the League meeting (which we didnt attend by the way) that Dawdon have been deducted 3 points for playing an ellegible player.

thought yous lot would break yer neck to get that on,nowt been discussed yet apart from it being a pathetic rule by the F.A., the
player cocerned has already served his suspension in days, but because his northern league club havent played a game since then
his one game suspension has been carried over.
To be fair though the league have never documented any of these
new rules. Top and bottom of it there should one suspension system for all affiliated football

Kev, I seem to remember the Durham rep explaining it all at the AGM or some meeting.
Your right though it is silly.

a genuine mistake by dawdon,it was only a matter of time before someone fell foul to this stupid rule.all suspensions should be governed by the same set of rules then this sort of thing wouldnt have happened.

Surely the player knew he hadnt served his one match ban!
The secretary still should know when a ban starts and ends whether that be days or matches on a Saturday, its part of the job, just like attending league meetings _________________ http://buy.at/MurtonVicFC
